How Much Does A Ceiling Fan Cost?
Ceiling fans cool in the summer with clockwise rotation of the fan blades, and re-cirulate heat in the winter, with counter-rotation of the blades.  So it is a wise investment to install ceiling fans in your home.

Adding a ceiling fan to an existing ceiling receptacle will cost $150-$225 depending on how complex assembly is.  This is the labor cost only.  Then you have to add the cost of the fan itself.

Additional costs.  If a fan box needs to be installed, cost can jump to $250-$350 depending if drywall needs to be repaired,  having to access your attic, added wiring, etc.
